Minimum: BS or PharmD from accredited College of Pharmacy.
Preferred: Advanced degree in business or management
Current NYS Pharmacist license and registration or eligible.
Minimum: Three to five years experience in hospital pharmacy. Demonstrated Pharmacy leadership experience.
Preferred: Two years of management
Minimum: Familiarity with unit dose systems, preparation of intravenous admixtures, parenteral nutrition solutions, and chemotherapy. Familiarity with automated dispensing and computerized pharmacy information systems. Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles involved in dose adjustments and monitoring for neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Experience with medication use evaluations, adverse drug reaction reporting, and performance improvement programs. Experience with pharmacy contracting and contract evaluation and compliance. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point
Preferred: Knowledge of and understanding of principles of change management. Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.
