Hillside Children’s Center has openings for 1:1 Aides at our Halpern Education Center in Webster, NY.  The hours are Full Time - 35 hours - Monday - Friday - 7:45am to 2:45pm.

The 1:1 Aide provides direct individual educational support and behavioral assistance to a child/youth requiring a higher level of care than a 6:1:1.  The 1:1 Aide provides the treatment team with information about assigned student in order to help develop teaching plans.

Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Works with an assigned student individually, or within groups of students requiring special instruction.  
• Provides the treatment team with information about assigned student in order to help develop teaching plans.
• Assists in the development of instructional resources, and helps assigned student to use these resources.
• Develops, updates, and maintains applicable clinical and school records for assigned student.
• Routinely interacts with assigned student, their family, and external contacts and represents the agency with professionalism, tact, and cultural sensitivity.
